The Brief Life & Mysterious Death of Boris III, King of Bulgaria

Direct from a sell out Edinburgh Fringe, this is the untold and true story of how Bulgaria saved almost 50,000 Jewish citizens during World War II and how the world forgot all about it. With live folk music, this 'Hamilton-esque' (The Stage) story follows a bunch of underdogs as they stand up to Hitler.

Penned Up

Theatre; new writing

Written and directed by award-winning Danusia Iwaszko, Penned Up is a funny, and moving new play inspired by her true experiences working with male prisoners in prisons around the UK.

Six prisoners join a playwriting group that has started at their prison. At first it's just a way to get out of their cells for a few hours, but as the men return week after week they begin to break the other chains that bind them.
