Chris Dugdale: Ethermind

Magic; comedy, theatre

An evening of entertainment, astonishment and wonder, Chris Dugdale's most personal show to date is a unique blend of magic, mind control and mischief. Probably the only performer to have performed a total of 14 Royal Command performances and also for the Pentagon, Dugdale is now touring for the first time in the UK.

Watson is alone. His beloved wife, Mary, and the great Sherlock Holmes are gone. London seethes with false reports. It is time to set the record straight.

 

Based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Watson is written with Bert Coules (BBC's Sherlock Holmes) and performed by Tim Marriott (BBC's Brittas Empire).

With live folk music, this 'Hamilton-esque' (The Stage) story follows a bunch of underdogs as they stand up to Hitler.

Penned Up

Theatre; new writing

Written and directed by award-winning Danusia Iwaszko, Penned Up is a funny, and moving new play inspired by her true experiences working with male prisoners in prisons around the UK.

Six prisoners join a playwriting group that has started at their prison. At first it's just a way to get out of their cells for a few hours, but as the men return week after week they begin to break the other chains that bind them.
